Hi, I’m Brittany Murphy.
Brittany is an interning clinician at Corner Booth Counseling Services who provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, and life transitions. She brings a warm, calming presence to the therapeutic relationship and believes healing begins with feeling understood, supported, and empowered.
Brittany has experience supporting adults, children, and families through a variety of challenges and understands that each person’s story, strengths, and goals are unique. Her approach is collaborative and personalized, creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen self-trust, and work toward meaningful change.
Brittany utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has completed specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment approach for OCD and anxiety disorders. Brittany is passionate about helping clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, reduce the impact of anxiety, overcome patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and build greater confidence, self-trust, and resilience.
Education
Brittany is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (Licensed Number ISW23458) with a Master of Social Work from Fort Hays State University.
